So I just got a 40in sony fhd tv… I connected my ps3(system on 1080p) using a HDMI cable and the graphics looks perfect!!! (using mk9, just cause 2, uncharted 2)
But when I use the same HDMI on my x360(system on 1080p), the graphics looks good, BUT not sharp (kind of edgy), not crystal clear like the ps3 graphics (using fifa 11)
I also have a HD VGA cable for my x360, it makes the graphics of fifa clear, and sharp, but NOT as good as the ps3 graphics…..
Whats wrong with the HDMI cable? Or am i supposed to change the x360 to 720p under system settings?

There is nothing wrong with your System I have a PlayStation 3 Slim and an Xbox 360 Slim; My PlayStation 3 Slim by itself when I run 1080p to my 22” VIZIO HDTV looks Sharper then when I run 1080p from my Xbox 360 Slim to my 22” VIZIO HDTV. Even though my PlayStation 3 Slim has a better GPU then my Xbox 360 Slim that doesn’t affect the Video Quality of 1080p because my PlayStation 3 Slim and Xbox 360 Slim both have a good enough GPU (In the first place) to run 1080p. However when my Multi-Console Games & Exclusive Games for my PlayStation 3 Slim like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 & Uncharted 3 (In the first place) look better (In Sharpness & Graphic Detail) then my Multi-Console Games & Exclusive Games for my Xbox 360 Slim like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 & Halo Reach; How can my Xbox 360 Multi-Console Games & Exclusive Games look better (In Sharpness & Graphic Detail) than my PlayStation 3 Multi-Console Games & Exclusive Games in 1080p (When they don’t in the first place)?. Answer… they can’t and they don’t due to my PlayStation 3 having a better GPU then my Xbox 360.
PlayStation 3

(And no you don’t need to change the Video settings to 1080p on the Xbox 360 because it does it naturally by restarting itself)
