Why didn’t they just make Milan where their traditional Black and Red.
And make Barcelona where that Aqua blue colour away? Like they did in their Champions League group stage match?
Honestly!
Both silly teams! ^_^
Why The Hell Are Ac Milan Wearing Their Away Kit At Home Against Barcelona?

not a clue/ strange ideas these kits! advertising probably
TBH, I can’t work that one out.
good question and i am also clueless
I’ve been trying to work this out since it started. I’ve been listening to the commentators to hear what they say.
Question for everyone:
I heard one of the commentators call some fans a “prat” for shining a lazer. Would that be considered a rule breaker on “swearing/insulting fans” ??
They are italian and Spanish
The other jerseys weren’t washed lol.
not sure really.
for the first time in a long time the Champions League is looking COMPETITIVE again.
reminds me of the European Nights of the early-mid 90s (92-95)
AC Milan look like QF opponents for Barcelona. I mean to say, Barcelona are playing as if they’ve met a team slightly one level higher in class and ability than anybody they played against up till now.
The san siro itself needs no introduction in terms of its history and association with great european nights – Ac Milan doing their best to press deep into Barce’s half and in doing so are seeing more of the ball than Barce would like them to.
My Son, Seedorf – isn’t he AMZING ? ^_^
lol hes not me real son ffs.
the best midfielder in the world between 95-05 imo.
Schoels was always 2nd best to him.
Barcelona are playing their best – but they’re now playing worthy QF opponents.
And this is AC Milan – 7 times champions of Europe. ^_^
EDIT: as for Milans kit, dunno – but id thought that the CHAMPIONS of EUROPE got to wear their 1st choice kit home or away in the competition, if not then its a simple case of colour clash.
Milan wear a dark red and black striped shirt which lets face it, anything shade of red would clash with barce’s maroon and blue. So white is the perfect complimentary kit.
I have no idea tbh why Barce are wearing their home kit and Milan their way kit.
most probably cos Barce are reigning champions ?
2ND EDIT: Kazuma may be right folks. I watched that 1994 CL final ! ^_^
Milan wore white that night – and thrashed Barcelona 4-0. Savicevic was on fire that night. Romario was a ghost. Romario was perhaps considered the best player in the world at that time…or one of the best. Defo in the top 3.
I know that their president said they wouldn’t wear the Black kit cause he thinks it’s unlucky maybe the white kit is lucky to him?
it’s due to reasons of magic and superstition-Milan are trying to jinx it
I think in 1994 or something Milan beat Barcelona at the San Siro with the white jersey so it is a symbolic thing. I could be completely wrong though.
I remember Manchester United wearing there white kit against Barca in a champions league group stage game at Old Trafford in that famous 98/99 season but Borrusia Dortmund were the champions of Europe at that time so it cant be Barcas choice unless the rules have changed since then.
Connor, real madrid were the champions of europe in the 97/98 season, before united became champions in 99… Dortmund were champions in 96/97.
But to answer the question perhaps milan feel more comfortable in there away kit due to the face they always win the big games in it.
I asked myself the same question when Manu faced Barca at home in a 1998/99 group stage match that finished 3-3. Manu wore a white shirt with black shorts that night and Barca were in their home kit.
its because they say white is their lucky colour in the champions league …no joke!
Milan’s home kit is red and black, barca’s home kit is red and blue, and their away kit is black- the kits had to be changed. AC Milan offered to play in white as they believe it’s their lucky kit, they beat Barca 4-0 wearing white in 1994 final.
