just as back in the 1948 london games, 3 years after saving you’s in WW2, the americans came in with greatness on their backs and soundly defeated everything standing in their way, capturing 34 gold medals and for a total of 84 medals combined, destroying the competition in the medal standings. will the 2012 games be the same? just days from now you’ll all be watching our superior athletes accepting their olympic medals that are rightfully ours all while the star spangled banner plays in the backround……ahhh, glorious indeed.

I just feel like he’s not the guy I thought he was.
On Sunday he was supposed to go with me and my friends to a football game. He came, but went all the way to the other side of the field to sit with some of his friends and wouldn’t come over and sit with me… even though I asked him to come and he said he would… with me! Then he didn’t understand why I was mad and he didn’t apologize.
Then prom is this Friday and he has completely been ignoring my text messages and got mad at me when I texted him like 500 times and I’m just like ok, I know it’s annoying, but I’m really stressed out with school and trying to get prom together and you won’t let me know what’s going on, so maybe if you responded to one of my first three original texts we wouldn’t have this problem.
Then I found out today that he broke up with his ex-girlfriend (of sophomore year – we’re seniors now) because she wouldn’t go as far with him as he wanted.
The best part is that I just found out she’s going to be at the same prom after-party as us.
I’m just so upset. I feel like I try to be really chill all the time and give him space and in the past week I’ve asked a few small things of him and he can’t manage to get it together.
I feel like he’s just a jerk.
I don’t want to break up though because I think about how just a week ago things were amazing and I started thinking I was in love with him… how could I let a few rough days end something I thought was so special?
I’m hoping prom goes better. I’m thinking maybe we won’t go to the after-party because it won’t be very big and it’d just be too awkward. Not to mention I constantly compare myself to her anyways because she’s really pretty and nice and I’m just goofy and weird.
What would you do if you were me? I mean am I overreacting or am I right? I won’t see him until prom so the only time I’ll have to talk to him is pretty much on the way there.
I just don’t know what to say. I have pretty bad anger issues so I’m afraid that I’ll get really upset and irrational and say a lot of stupid things. I just don’t know how to talk to him without fighting. I just want to have a fun time but he’s really hurting my feelings with the way he’s acting.
I couldn’t care less, really.
